A competition glider

It is characterised by maximum performance combined with good safety. It is aimed at the most experienced competitors and record chasers. Our factory pilot David Ohlidal finished 3rd overall on PWC 2005, and in 2006 Primoz Podobnik took  4th place overall.

The projection of the canopy is designed so that the distribution of the uplift pressure is optimised and induced resistance is minimised. A special profile was developed for maximum performance and maximum speed. Even then the glider is very stable!!!
The well established construction of diagonal reinforcement at the line attachment points has helped us reduce the number of lines used on the canopy. The use of unsheathed lines of different diameters significantly reduced frontal resistance, consequently increasing the wing´s performance with no effect on it´s safety.
Special thin risers also help to build up performance. We use D-reinforcement, which minimizes oscillation of a glider. Reinforcements on the leading edge increase the stability of canopy at maximum speed.
The innovative differential speed-system increases max. speed to 60 km/hour while maintaining stable flight.
We have achieved these excellent characteristics by using high quality new materials which have reduced the weight of the canopy whilst also improving its safety.
The canopy is manufactured from 'water repelent' Skytex S 9017, which has a high UV reflectivity and excellent resistance to abrasion. The lines are a very new material Liros PPSL, with a core of dyneema which offers minimal stretching and much higher durability. .
